Calm Waters Rowing

Calm Waters Rowing celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2020!

One October Session Available!

As of September 23, we have completed two sessions this month with one more to go. The weather hasn’t always allowed us to do everything outside but with large rooms and small groups, we have worked hard to keep risk to a minimum. Our guests have been very cooperative and respectful, social distancing and wearing masks when inside and often outside too.

We have been invited to put on clinics at two different clubs in October, so we have only one session planned for next month: October 8–11. People who had already signed up for an October session (way back when) have partially filled the slots, but there are a couple of openings available. We expect them to fill fast, so if you have interest, please e-mail us soon.

It's a vacation. It's a camp. It's all that and more. Calm Waters Rowing is a full-service sculling camp vacation that caters to the master rower. But whether you're a beginner, recreational rower, or experienced racer, we'll design a program to fit your needs.

Our elite coaches, Charlotte Hollings and John Dunn, have more than 70 years combined experience. They'll work one-on-one with you to help you develop and improve your rowing technique.

During your stay, The Inn at Levelfields will be your home away from home. As one of the last antebellum mansions to be built in the Commonwealth of Virginia, it represents the final expression of the authentic hip-roofed Georgian colonial style.
